Long time no see! It's been over a month since my last post and life / work has been insane which has certainly impacted my workouts and mental energy. I decided that May is going to be a month of working to 'take that back'. While of course work is important, and I do enjoy what I do, I can't let it overrun all facets of my life which then impact my overall well being. This month I'm going to make sure I block out time and energy for my workouts, creative outlets, and of course family!

As difficult as it can be to strike a balance between work and life, it's essential for my overall mental health and energy. I'm going to keep consistent with my workouts and look for continued wins, even if they are small, through the day to recharge. While it can be challenging for me to literally blockout time for activities that bring me a fun "break", those little moments can often make a huge impact on being more focused and productive throughout the day. Let's see how the rest of the month goes, I'm pumped and look forward to sharing that with you!
